We are looking for a dynamic person with experience in the education sector to join our team to help grow our language learning materials and assessment products by identifying and helping to convert new business opportunities into revenue as well as cross-selling to existing accounts.

About the role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing our business in the DACH region by

  • Visiting schools and other institutions to secure adoptions of our highly regarded and successful range of Cambridge English Language Teaching materials and our world-renowned Assessment products
  • Maintaining excellent marketing knowledge
  • Inputting on promotional and strategic planning
  • Participation in local events
  • Reporting on educational developments in the region.

We offer a competitive salary and benefit package enhanced with a company car. With frequent travel in Switzerland, Germany and Austria and occasional travel to the UK.

About you:

You have been educated to tertiary level and live in Switzerland, ideally in the greater Zürich area. You are driven, proactive, motivated and able to work on your own initiative. You are able to demonstrate excellent sales, presentation, and networking skills. You are at ease with technology and comfortable with databases. Knowledge of the education system in Switzerland is essential. Knowledge of the education systems in Germany and Austria is an advantage. A background in teaching, sales, marketing or customer service would be advantageous. You will have excellent written and verbal communication skills with a minimum C1 level of English and C1 in another Swiss language (ideally German). You have a demonstrated aptitude for learning new skills and are capable of adapting easily to different circumstances.
